Advanced Imaging Examinations

All subjects undergoing health checkups are reminded that even though screenings can effectively diagnose a disease in advance and reduce its threat to your health, all examination items and medical instrument-based screenings do not have full sensitivity to various diseases. In addition, due to the diversity of the individual characteristics and health statuses of subjects, it is impossible to fully diagnose every disease.

Furthermore, after receiving a checkup, it is recommended that you receive follow-ups or treatment according to the doctor's recommendations, adjust your daily lifestyle, and avoid risk factors that may affect your health, so as to achieve the fullest potential of healthcare management and preventive medicine.

Advanced imaging tests

Feel free to contact us if you have a family history of cancer or you wish to undergo an advanced imaging examination on cancer. We will provide you with recommendations on each imaging test according to your family history and physical condition.

Examination Description Estimated cost
Whole body MRI with DWI In this examination, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is used to detect lesions in the body, including the brain, head and neck, spine, and abdominopelvic cavity (reproductive organs). The results present all the information related to the organs and tissues. In addition, DWI of all molecules in the body increases the cancer screening and diagnostic rate as well as assessing the stage and metastasis of cancer. NT$ 60,000
Whole body MRI In this examination, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is used to detect lesions in the body, including the brain, head and neck, spine, and abdominopelvic cavity (reproductive organs). The results present all the information related to the organs and tissues. NT$ 40,000
Brain MRI and MRA Our brain MRI screening examines the intracranial brain tissues and structure (cerebrum, cerebellum, cranial nerves, eyes, etc.), intracranial arteries, and carotid arteries.
This examination is suitable for those with a high risk of stroke as it screens and detects the presence of cerebral aneurysm and brain tumors.
NT$ 16,000
2D+3D mammography

This breast cancer examination is recommended for women aged above 40 years as it detects breast calcification-related findings.

In comparison with 2D mammography, this examination creates various tomograms of the breasts at different angles. These tomograms are then recombined, thus increasing the detectivity of breast cancer.

It is suitable for screening women at a high risk of developing breast cancer (such as those with a family history or are using hormones) or as a follow-up tool on those with abnormalities as determined through palpation or breast ultrasound.

NT$ 3,600
Breast MRI screening with DWI

This examination combines MRI with DWI of all molecules in the body.

At present, it has the highest sensitivity among all breast imaging examinations as it is able to discover tumors undetected through mammography or ultrasound.

It is suitable for screening women at a high risk of developing breast cancer (such as those with a family history or are using hormones).

This examination must be paired with a mammography (2D+3D).

NT$ 21,600
Coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA)

In this procedure, a contrast agent is administered via non-invasive intravenous injection, and the extent of coronary artery calcification and artery diameter is quantified by computed tomography. Therefore, CCTA is able to accurately detect the extent of coronary artery blockage and assess cardiovascular disease risk. This technique has similar effects with catheter angiography.

This examination is suitable for those at a high-risk of coronary artery disease (those with hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, long-term smokers, and a family history of heart disease). Healthy adults above the age of 40 years are recommended to be screened as well. Those who underwent cardiovascular bypass surgery or had an intravascular stent placement are recommended to undergo this examination as a follow-up.

NT$ 28,500
CT-Coronary Calcium Score

The assessment of coronary artery calcification is a non-invasive procedure that does not involve the injection of a contrast agent. It consists of multiple CT scans, in which the extent of artery calcification is estimated through recombinant computing.

This examination is suitable for those at a high-risk of coronary artery disease (those with hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, long-term smokers, and a family history of heart disease). Healthy adults above the age of 40 years are recommended to be screened as well.

NT$ 6,000
Whole-spine MRI

Our whole-spine MRI screening covers the cervical vertebrae, thoracic vertebrae, lumbar vertebrae, and the hip joints.

This examination is suitable for those with neck and waist pain, spinal disc herniation, osteophytes, and sciatica.

NT$ 22,000
Bone mineral density test Allows subjects to understand their bone health. Indication: those with a family history of osteoporosis, are in menopause, have a diet that lacks in calcium, a work that involves prolonged sitting, and those who lack exposure to sunlight. NT$ 1,200
